High performance calcium silicates

PROMATECT®-L are medium dense, largesize calcium silicate boards with a homogeneous and stable structure guaranteeing excellent thermal insulation properties.

The lightweight, mechanically strong PROMATECT®-L insulation boards have proven efficiency in complex insulated assemblies such as dryers, industrial furnaces and ventilation and air conditioning systems. In these applications, not only good insulating properties are required but also the need to be self-supporting.

PROMATECT®-L boards combine good thermal properties with excellent technical characteristics.

This product can be processed in Promat UK's ISO 9001/14001 Workshop providing a bespoke engineered solution to meet the end user requirement.

Working & processing

PROMATECT®-L products can be accurately machined with special processing machinery and appropriate equipped tools. The fine material structure allows the production of precision machined parts. 

They can be easily fixed in place by screws or Tucker Fasteners. When using screws, slot holes should be included. 

When cutting to size, the maximum recommended workplace concentration for dust generation must be observed. We advise local dust extraction in the cutting zone.
