Composite elements

PROMATHERM®-VE products are rigid composite boards with excellent insulating properties and a temperature resistant core, ideal for mechanically self-supporting constructions. They can be used as prefabricated parts for walls and ceilings.

PROMATHERM®-VE 100 boards have a polyurethane hard foam core. PROMATHERM®-VE 150, -VE 250, and -VE 400 boards have a mineral wool core.

PROMATHERM®-VE 100 composite panels consist of Al-galvanised steel top boards bonded to a polyurethane hard foam core with a classification temperature of 100 °C.

Working & processing

PROMATHERM®-VE elements can be easily processed and cut to size with special tools. 

The PROMATHERM®-VE boards with PROMATECT® facings can be easily sawn, drilled or milled with wood or metal processing machinery using special tools.

When cutting to size or shaping the maximum, allowable workplace concentration for inhalable dust generation must be observed. Localised dust extraction is recommended at the point of work.
